Whisps are delicious cheese crisps made by a fourth generation family-run New Jersey-based business. Although their product is available through major retailers like Amazon, WalMart, and Costco, they wanted to capitalize on the online B2C market. Whisps came to DotcomWeavers with a basic informational WordPress site and asked us to transform it into a profitable eCommerce platform.
We partnered with their design team to create a site that reflected their brand popularity – especially on social media. On the technical side, the site connects with their order fulfillment software (ShipBob) for a seamless user experience.
Whisp’s re-designed, mobile-first WordPress site is integrated with WooCommerce to support enhanced eCommerce functionality. It also gives Whisps a more structured backend for optimal product and data management.
In addition to the re-structured CMS, a custom API connects their shopping cart with their order fulfillment provider (ShipBob).
This setup streamlines the ordering and delivery process and makes it simple for customers to buy, which supports increased conversions.
The Whisps site features seamless social media integrations to deliver a live feed from their popular Instagram page. When Whisps is ready, they also have the option to enable social selling functionality.
The enhanced newsletter automation and Google Analytics integration help Whisps reach more customers and track their perfomance.
Because original content and images are so important to their customers (and conversions), a new recipes section was added to enhance the user experience and provide extra value.
