Whisps are delicious cheese crisps made by a fourth generation family-run New Jersey-based business.
Although their product is available through major retailers like Amazon, WalMart, and Costco, they wanted to capitalize on the B2C market via a website sales platform. Whisps approached us with a basic informational WordPress site & asked us to transform it into a profitable eCommerce platform.
We partnered with their design team to create a site that reflected their brand popularity – especially on social media. On the technical side, we connected the site with their order fulfillment software (ShipBob) for a seamless user experience.
Integrating Whisp’s re-designed, mobile-first WordPress website with the WooCommerce plugin enabled full eCommerce functionality and gave them a structured backend for optimal product management.
In addition to a re-structured CMS (content management system) to support better eCommerce SEO, we also created a custom API that connects their shopping cart with their order fulfillment provider (ShipBob). The goal was to capitalize on their branded social media content and large following with a redesign that matched their website.
This design approach put the needs and wants of Whisp’s customers first, which supports more conversions.
Today, we provide Whisps with strategies and advice to support their new and improved eCommerce site and help them grow.
We also support their multichannel strategy through paid advertising & online marketing initiatives – but that’s a big story with a lot of moving parts.
To ensure a seamless social and shopping experience, we used technology that connected their social media plugins to the site and added the ability to put recipe guides on their blogs creating a marketing, SEO, and design focus.
