New Jersey-based Wallington Plumbing & Heating Supplies is one of the country’s largest plumbing and heating supplies companies. But their old website did not represent the quality of their brand, nor did its shopping cart support its increasing sales requirements.
They asked us to build a conversion-focused, a bilateral eCommerce website that integrated their legacy ERP – Epicor – and serve both B2B and B2C customers.
The new UX-driven website makes it easier for customers to place their orders and for admins to provide excellent customer service. With the launch of their new website, Wallington Plumbing & Heating Supply is ready for another 30 years of growth.
To promote B2B and B2C sales, the site features unique user experiences that help both customer groups feel at home and navigate the site according to their needs. For example, the Quick Order pad makes reordering a convenient one-click process, whether it’s 1 product or 10,000.
The most intensive integrations on the new website were the Epicor Eclipse ERP (an industry standard) and Vantiv payment processing system. Eclipse helps Wallington manage their inventory while simultaneously enabling users to better find the products they want.
For Wallington, we focused on design that blended perfectly with the Eclipse ERP and Epicor payment processing system.
Once the design was perfect for their customers and their internal needs, we helped them launch their B2B & B2C-enabled site in early 2018. Since then, they’ve seen a huge increase in sales as well as accolades from existing customers.
This new website helped Wallington launch their new and improved B2C business using the same technology and platform of the new site. Wallington is future ready.
