INTRODUCTIONSuperBreakers is a B2C retailer that sells a huge range of new electrical products from top brands at low, wholesale prices.
When SuperBreakers approached DotcomWeavers they were ready to take their business to the next level but lacked the digital infrastructure to support the move. Their existing website was not scalable and lacked the features they needed to earn a bigger share of the market. They asked us to transform their online presence.
We began by updating their Magento-based platform to a newer version, which would support new functionality and extensions. One of the first issues we addressed was the information architecture. We created a flexible category system that made it easy for contractors and other customers to quickly find the parts they need. To supercharge this process, we also developed a custom quick order integration. This allows customers to search by SKU and instantly add an item to their cart – no searching necessary. For total customer convenience, we also refined the search filters. For order management, we chose THub and channel advisor, which created a true omnichannel solution. Finally, we implemented a powerful customer loyalty program featuring rewards points to turn new customers into loyal followers. The result was a robust, scalable solution that delivered an improved customer experience and superior business management. SuperBreakers launched in the summer of 2017 and we look forward to reporting on their performance in the months ahead!
