AMD’s goal of expansion into new and underserved markets required the support of a dynamic new scalable eCommerce store. It required multiple levels of service and access to serve their diverse group of current and prospective B2B and B2C customers. They approached DotcomWeavers to deliver a solution that would increase conversions and position them as an industry leader.


To provide AMD with the powerful sales engine they required to service their 100,000+ products, we chose the Magento platform as the foundation. With Magento’s versatile native features and our own customizations, we delivered functions such as customer-segmented promotional pricing, rule-based product recommendations, a multi-vendor platform to a customized search and streamlined checkout functionality. Special B2B features such as a quick order pad and a punchout catalog were also included.
